Born and raised on the east coast. Carl's parents started him early on skis and spending their winters on the New Hampshire slopes. He grew up skiing at Wildcat and Cannon Mountains, but when he was just seven years old, his parents switched him over to leather boots and Tua "Mini Megas". "I owe a lot to my kooky parents who gave me the passion for telemark skiing", Carl Stated. Going through high school he knew he had to chase the dream of moving west and skiing as much as possible. So after graduating, He shipped off to SLC for college. After a couple years at Salt Lake Community College, he got his piece of paper and jumped into seasonal work. Now he spends his summers in Idaho, working for a multi-day river guide company on the middle fork of the Salmon, In the winters he's been posted up mid mountain at Alta, slinging burgers at Alfs restaurant and skiing every day.
We're super excited to have Carl on the team at Bishop, he has proved that he can charge the mountain harder than anyone around, and we're stoked to have him hard-charging the BMF bindings.
Follow him on Instagram for some pretty epic POV shots!
