Keep your Bishops running smooth and fast with Bishop Binding Butter. This low temperature grease is specially formulated for snowy cold conditions. 1.75 ounces.
The Bishop telemark binding is a precision piece of equipment, and as such, needs a little maintenance love every so often. This low temperature grease is used on the main springs, and at the main pivot and bolts that attach the Heel Bail to the Heel Pad.
Bamboo is an amazing material with the tensile strength of steel and a compressive strength greater than concrete. When cut to the length of a ski pole, the species of bamboo that we use provides the perfect combination of rigidity and flexibility so it wont snap or kink like aluminum.
That's why we're offering a Bishop Bamboo Pole. Take you're pole plants to the next level, and stand out in the lift line, with some signature Bishop Sticks!
If anything is better than duct tape it is these 20" long by 3/4" wide flexible straps. Made of tough stretch polyurethane and a hardened aluminum buckle, they have many uses. Sold as each.
These straps are used mainly to hold your skis and bindings together. While carrying your skis, the Bishops can pivot freely and mouse trap your fingers or give you a good smack in your gaper head. Don't be that guy. Look steezy and strap 'em together nice and neat.
Keep this strap in your pocket when skiing as it can be used for many purposes - McGyver style. It's held a broken boot together on more than one occasion. You should always carry a few of these straps when travelling in the backcountry or sidecountry: A-frame skis on your pack, fix a pesky climbing skin, hold your shovel and probe together, the list goes on...
Since 2001, Bishop has offered value to telemark skiers with the original switch kit system. Buy one bomber BMF binding, and use it on your whole quiver of skis. The Bishop BMF Switch Kit allows you to quickly transfer your bindings between multiple pairs of skis. Save your hard earned cash money for Apres. No need to have a pair of bindings for each set of skis.
The BMF-R Switch Kit comes with climbing wires, and the BMF-3 Switch Kit does not. You cannot use climbing wires with the resort oriented BMF-3 binding. These Switch Kits are not compatible with Bishop 2.0 bindings. A 2.0 Switch Kit is available for that binding.
Bishop telemark ski brakes can be easily installed or removed with two screws (extras included). Three brake sizes to choose from. It is possible to bend the brakes out a bit for a ski that is a few millimeters wider than the brake, but it is best to go to the next size up.
